French Onion Soup with Gruyere croutons $65 1.5 litres

Classic French Onion soup
1.5 litre tubs easy reheat in your pan on the stove top
finish off in your soup bowls under your grill by placing the bagueete gruyere crouton on the top of the soup  until bubbling
comes with 6 croutons topped with french gruyere cheese and fresh garden thyme

French Chicken Liver Parfait with Cornichons & crackers $60

Chicken Liver Parfait
A classic French recipe from Michelin Chef Marcus Waering.
This pate is smooth in texture and full of complexity flavour profiles including shallots, white wine , brandy , cream , garlic, garden thyme , topped with a thin glaze of clarified butter & a sprig of thyme.
Comes boxed with crackers and French Cornichons . Absolute luxury
$60 per box and the ceramic dish is included for you to recycle and reuse in your kitchen x

New to the “ winter “ menu classic Lamb shanks Slow cooked until meltingly tender in a  rich, deeply flavoured red wine sauce with Miripoix vegetables
Comes cooked and presented on collect in my returnable 4 litre cast iron casserole dishes & fresh parsley for garnish

Beef Burgundy casserole with 8 dumplings $125 includes fresh parsley for garnish

Slow cooked for 4 hours, beautiful grass fed beef in a classic red wine and tomato sauce with carrots, celery & onions.
Comes with 8 dumplings in a separate container for you to add when you place in the oven.
Full instructions for reheat and crisping up the dumplings will be provided plus fresh parsley for garnish when ready to serve

Winter comfort food…  Coq au Vin is a robust casserole marinaded in  a pinot red wine sauce with  carrot & celery sauce & onions & layers of additional flavours.. mushrooms, lardons & baby onions
6  Pieces of slow cooked chicken maryland thighs ( weighing approx 700g each ) that are so tender …..
A 2 day process of marinading then creating levels of flavour profiles to make the perfect dish .. complex but fabulous

Organic Tarragon chicken in white wine sauce $100

Weighing in around 2.3 this is the most divine succulent roast chicken!
Comes already spathcocked &  seasoned ,smothered in French butter, tarragon & Maldon sea salt
Roast for 20 minutes at 220 c then turn down your oven to 140 c. add the creamy white wine tarragon sauce provided in a separate container & cook for 40 mins

Fremch Pithiviers are large pies encased in puff pastry.
Two fillings are available:
1: Chicken & leek in a creamy mustard bechamel sauce flamed in brandy 
2. Classic French Beef Burgundy with a rich red wine sauce 
Comes ready for you to finish off in your oven 40 minutes at 200c 

Beef Burgundy Cottage Pie $75 (GF)

The Messy Cooks Beef Burgundy has so many layers of flavour… starting with a classic Miripoix of carrots, celery & onions flamed in brandy with beautiful grass fed beef , tomatoes, red wine and aromats… slow cooked for 4 hours for maximum flavour.
Presented in an enamel dish for oven to table presentation… topped with the Messy Cooks Piped Parish mash and a drizzle of Gruyere cheese.
Ready for you to reheat and crisp up the topping in your own oven at pre heated 200c for 40  minutes which crisps up the potato  & Gruyere topping and caremelising the beautiful filling.
